Stability, Safety and Security
At Woodford Children’s Home we are committed to working flexibly and imaginatively with all those involved in the care of the children to ensure the best interest and well being of each young person in our care is promoted and maintained.
Our managers and staff work together to create a culture of continuing improvement, always striving to do better for the children and young people
Woodford Children’s Home works within the local child protection procedures to protect children and young people from harm and abuse. These procedures apply in cases of abuse by staff or another young person. We seek to provide a safe environment for all within the home. There is zero tolerance of any forms of violence or inappropriate behaviours either by staff or residents. This includes disrespect of others, bullying or intimidation, actual violence, racial or sexual abuse.
The home has close contact with the safeguarding team in Redbridge and we are able to contact them to seek advice about local procedures and practices, allegations of abuse or inappropriate behaviour, methods of control and risk taking in the residential home.
